Overview Operations Events
Details Schedule Automation Task Scheduler

Operations are tasks to perform i.e. running a program, backing up files, etc.. Events are conditions that occur i.e. a time is reached, a window pops up, etc.. Schedule provides tools to create operations then link them to specific events. When an events occurs it triggers an operation to begin.
Each operation can be configured to run one or many at a time. This allows you to take advantage of Schedules' multithreaded engine to get things done in 'realtime' when operations need to respond immediately to events, or to have operations occur one at a time for order dependent operations.

Schedule Operations  
  Backup Backup files or entire directory trees. Options allow keeping or overwriting old backup files, backing up only new or changed files and has Hidden / system / readonly filtering too.
  Run Program Programs can be launched full screen, normal screen, minimized or hidden. You can instruct Schedule to watch for program completion so that other dependent operations can start when the program completes.
  Run Macro Schedule comes with EMac the Evans Macro Interpreter, builtin at no additional cost. EMac can completely control programs and 'you don't have to be a programmer to use it'.

Note Schedule is featurerich even without EMac. But, if you need extra help getting a tough job done, EMac is there if you need it. For complete details click here.
  Exit Windows Schedule can logoff, reboot, shutdown or power off Windows.
  Close Window Schedule can close windows. Also, Schedule can differentiate between windows with identical titles.
  Kill Program Terminates a program and all its windows.
  Display a Message Options include wait for user input, timeout with auto continue or abort, on top or normal window, OK and / or Cancel buttons, trigger operation on continue, WAV file warning and more.
  FTP Copy files to and from FTP servers. Schedule's FTP browser and transaction editor make it easy to setup automated FTP transfers.

Schedule Events  
  One or repeating time Run an operation once at a particular date and time or schedule a repeating operation. Schedule is very flexible and allows scheduling by day of week, date and time, minutes, hours, days, months, last of month, years and more. You can even set a job to disable itself on a certain date and time.
  When a window opens or closes Run an operation when a particular window opens or closes. Schedule can differentiate between windows with identical titles. This is an important feature to insure the correct operation runs. This event is great for autofilling in login names and passwords and has many more uses too.
  When files or folders are created, deleted or modified Run an operation when files or folders are created, deleted or modified. Allows a flexible combination of options, including wildcard characters and multiple watch folders.
  When Schedule starts Run an operation when the schedule program first starts.
